Employee Exit Checklist (Manager of Exiting Employee)
A comprehensive checklist is available in CIA for the employee to complete ‘HRF - Employee Exit Checklist’.
Manager Reminders;
- Lodge the following form in CIA the ‘HRF – Termination Request’.
- Your timely submission of a termination request will support termination payments to be processed no late than 7 business days of employment ending;
- Follow up on the employee to return any Company Property including keys, access passes, MFA Cards, Phones & Devices. If not returned in a timely manner escalate and consult where appropriate e.g. Manager/IT/Payroll/HR.
- Remind employees of their obligations;
- Securely destroy all Safe Places document, reports, intellectual property and confidential data from devices as well as any hard copy documents;
- To remind them that confidentiality obligations continue after employment with Safe Places ceases;
- To update social media profiles where it refers to Safe Places as current employer;
Manager Reminder (additional if resignation);
- When you submit a termination request (Resignation) through CIA the employees work email address will receive an acknowledgement of your submission along with a link to an online exit survey.
International Recruits/ Sponsored Employees:
- Employees on a Safe Places sponsored temporary visa will be notified to the Department of Home Affairs.
