Employee Exit Checklist's
A comprehensive checklist is available in CIA you can complete the following form ‘HRF - Employee Exit Checklist’.
All employees are reminded when leaving:
- You must return Company Property including keys, access passes, MFA Cards, Phones & Devices
- You must securely destroy all Safe Places document, reports, intellectual property and confidential data from devices as well as any hard copy documents;
- You must remember that your confidentiality obligations continue after employment with Safe Places ceases;
- You must update any social media profile where it refers to Safe Places as your current employer;
- Termination payments are processed no later than 7 business days of employment ending;
- Final pay will be processed within 7 business days of employment ending (as per legislation) please ensure that you have reviewed the completion worksheet on your final payslip.
Employees within Operations:
- Final payments may be reduced if banked hours are in arrears.
- If you received a $300 advance payment paid at the commencement of employment this amount will be withheld from your final pay.

International Recruits/ Sponsored Employees:
- Employees on a Safe Places sponsored temporary visa will be notified to the Department of Home Affairs.
